David Gillen of Herman, and his son, Benjamin, take pride in keeping a client's lawn and yard looking neat.
The father-son team will provide yard care the year-around. Right now they are mowing and trimming lawns, and can do light tree trimming and hedge pruning. Their lawn mower is equipped with a bagger for when the grass clippings need to be removed, and it will come in handy when it's time to remove the leaves this fall. If you want your garden tilled at the end of this fall's gardening season, give David a call.
When winter settles in, they can provide roof raking should the need arise, and will keep the driveway cleared of snow with a snowblower.
Next spring they will be available again to till garden spots, aerate the lawn with a mechanical rake, and provide lawn cleanup with the mower/bagger.
David says his service frees up some people from the weekly chore of mowing and trimming their yard, while for others, its a help to them, especially the elderly, who are unable to complete the task."I can do it at a reasonable cost to them," said David.
After living in the Twin Cities for most of his life, David moved to Herman in 1997. He began his lawn service in the spring of 1998. He was born in Herman, but moved away with his parents at a young age.
In addition to clients in Herman, David and Benjamin have completed some work in Morris. They performed some light landscaping work at WestMor Industries near Morris, trimming trees, pruning bushes and hedges, and spot grass planting.
